Benefits
For simple and clear identification of connector inserts with an identical number of poles but different assignments or functions
Coding pins are used for mechanical coding of the connector face and prevent mismating with the mating connector
Coding pins are used for mechanical coding of the connector insert and prevent mismating with the mating connector
Coding pins are placed in the pin insert and pressed in with a screwdriver (the corresponding contact positions in the opposite socket insert must be kept free)
Coding bolts replace one or more fastening screws of the connector insert.
Applications
For use with rectangular connector inserts from the EPIC® H-A, H-BE, H-D and H-Q series (depending on article).
